AUCKLAND EXHIBITION.
(By Telegraph--Special Correspondent.) Auckland, October 2. The committee entrusted with the arrangements for tho' advertising arid printing in connection with tho Auckland Exhibition mot this morning. A sub-committee brought down a report recommending tlie appointment of a journalist to travel through New Zealand for the purpose of advertising the Exhibition, and it was eventually decided that the commission should bo given to Mr. Henry , Hardcastlo, a member of the literary Btaff . of tlio "Now Zealand Herald." The committee also decided to havo five sots of "stickers" of artistic design printed for the purpose of advertising tho attractions of tho Exhibition and of Auckland. These will bo given to tradespeople to put on parcels, etc., and tliey will be otherwise distributed as freely as possible. One design showß a picture of the Exhibition buildings. Another depicts Grafton Bridge by moonlight. A third iB n of a Maori war canoe. A fourth consists of tho city coat of arms, and. a fifth displays tho flag"of New Zealand. All contain appropriate Teforerices to tho exhibition. It was decided that the advertising campaign should be made active, and that it should commence forthwith.
