Dr. Maguire medical superintendent of tho Auckland Hospital, said that deceased ivas admitted on September 28, the history of the case indicating that he had been thrown out of a motor-car. On the day following his shoulder was very much swollen, and lie developed a very blue colour. Ho sank rapidly, and died at 7 o'clock on the evening of September 20. The cause of death was fracture of the right collarbone, taurnatic haemorrhage. and haemorrhngoduoto what was known as haemophilia, which was a congenital defect affecting the coagulating property of tho Wood. Any slight wniind might cause such a s'ubject°to Mood to death, and such subjects rarely lived beyond the age of 20. Deceased's mother had said that she had experienced considerable' trouble with him, and it was a wonder that ho lived so long. A verdict :in accordance with the medical testimony was returned, the Coroner recording that the injuries were Accidentally received.
