ANSWER TO CORRESPONDENT.
R.H.S.—The Pensions Bill, giving women old age pensions at 80, has been passed by Parliament, but has not yet been signed by tho Governor. The Pensions Department is taking applications for pensions under tho new scalo now. The Registrar at Palmerston North (Clerk of the Magistrate's , Court) will show any applicant how to fill in the form.
