In February' an Australian jolevcn aVe going to. tour the Dominion, and ih all probability two matches will bo played, in Wellington. Tho Auckland team will be paying us a visit this season. We will in all probability play home matches with tho Canterbury team, who are the present holders of the Plunket Shield. We are endeavouring to arrange annual matches with tho Otago team, but tho first jrama must be played in Otago, as we liavo been owing them a visit for the past six years. Onr association is still suffering from lack of funds, but a very determined effort is now being made by. the committee, and the cricketers of Wellington to'reduce their liability, and if you will once again assist us by becoming an honorary member, we feel certain that at the. end of the season the financial position, of the association will be such as to reflect credit on the com. ljiittee and citizens of Wellington."
