ADELAIDE COMPANY FACES THE POSITION. Br Telegraph—Preas Aseonfsvtlon—Copyright Adelaide, September 30. At the annual meeting of tho Adelaido Steam Ship Company, the chairman said tliat- though traffic had increased, tho company had reaped no material benefit, owing to the enormously increased cost of running the vessels. It was difficult to , forecast when the position would improve. Tho chairman indicated an early readjustment of charges.
