PASSENGER , ROBBED OF £125,

Yesterday a passenger named J. Johnson, of Wellington, while travelling on the Wellington-Napier express, had his pockot picked when in the refreshment, tfoom at Waipukurau (says our travelling correspondent). The amount stolon was £125. . He had it in a purse i- in his,hip pockot. There was_ a big crowd on the trainj and much jostling ut- the .'refreshment rooms. The. police anJ railway authorities were informed, but so far there is no cllio. Mr. Johnson states that he con. idenitify one £50 note stolen.
