ADVENTURES IN BRAZIL.

• A most interesting and instructive lecture was delivered in the"* Vivian Street Baptist Church last evening by tlio Rev. W. F. Ray, F.R.G.S./on his experiences as a missionary in Brazil. The church was crowded to the doors, many merabors of the audience having to be content with standing room. Tlio lecturer gave many reminiscences of adventures in the wilds of the great South American Continent, together with an interesting sketcn of the characteristics of the Indians amongst whom he laboured, their customs, and their religious beliefs. The lecturo was illustrated by a fine series of lantern Blides.
