THE ARAHURA. Tho Wcstport packet AnaliuTa left Westport at 10 o'clock yesterday morning for Nelson, Picton, and Wellington. The vessel ,is duo hero this evening. THE HINEMOA. The Secretary of Marino (Mr. G. Allport) advises that, tho Government steamer Hinemoa landed stores at Castlepoint yesterday morning, and left again in tho afternoon for the Auokland Islands. - Tho Pakeha leaves Aucttland for Weilington on Friday. After discharging part cargo at this port fiho goes on to Timaru. The Morayshire is duo from Homo, via Auckland, on October 9. After completing discharge at Wellington she will proceed to Lyttelton and Dunedin, and tlienco to Australian, ports. Corinna, butter carrier, is'now engaged in transhipping coastwise freight to the lonio. She leaves this evening for Timaru, The Defender arrived in port last ovening from Karamea. She sails to-day for Picton and Hokitika. Mr. G. Anderson liae signed off tho Mararoa as assistant-purser. Mr. J. D. Smith, of tho local office of tho Union Company, will fill tho vacancy to-day. Sailing at midday to-day, the Poherua will take general cargo for Greymouth. Tho Tyser steamer Wliakarua, wliioh is now en voyage from London to Wellington, via way ports, is expected at Wellington on Sunday from Napior. Departure of the coastal paokct Ripple for Napier lias been postponed until today. Mr. W. R. Allen, late of tho Anchor Company's Kennedy, is joining e.s. Ripple as mate.
