BOYS' INSTITUTE SPORTS;

At Anderson Park on Saturday a successful sports meeting was held in connection with the Boys' Institute. A daylight parade of senior cadets interfered with tho attendance of the senior hoys, and so the day was chiefly occupied with junior events. The director (Mr. Bennett) was assisted by Messrs. Henan, Wright, and Dawson, and'the championships, handicaps, and novelty events were well contested: .In tho junior championship section H. Hall was the winner, with J. Daly a good second. The lattor competed successfully, in many events in tlio morning, played in a hockey final early in the afternoon, and then returned to win somo long distance runs, (fhe senior champion turned up in J. Atkinson, others who ran well being N. Bing, B. Piper, and C. Rusterholz.
