After taking aboard 26 passengers, 15 bags mails, and 1200 tons bunker coal, the Athenic left tho same for Hobart. The weather after leaving the South African coaet was moderate to westerly to north-westerly wind-s, with high southwesterly swell to ll\>' degrees east, thcnco to 130 degrees east moderate to iresh soutnwesterly- gales with high seas, thence to Hobart fine weatjier. ♦Tho Athenic arrived at that port on Wednesday last. OFFICERS PAY RAISED; The Mercantile Marino Service Associar ticai is informed that tlio Shaw, feavill and Albion Company have recently increased the pay of their officers.
