ANOTHER DARING FLIGHT.

Pegoud's aeroplane lias been strengthened, otherwise it is the identical craft with ..-liich Beaumont, won tlie circuit of Uiitaiu in July, 19il.
(Rec. September 28, 5.6 p.m.) M. Pegoud, in his double feat, tiegan hovering at a great height when suddenly the machine leaned steeply forward; then it made a swift and olean plunge at a terrifying angle, and made a small, round and precise loop. The feat was carried out before spellbound crowds. The machino then quickIv swerved up and another perfect loop, as graceful as tlie first, followed. Tlio silence of the crowd, was then broken by vociferous cheering.
London, September 27. In the International air contest at Hendon, Great Britain, represented by Hamel, won the speed event, France being second, and America third.
