MR. H. G. PELISSIER, ENTERTAINER. By Teteeiuph-Press Association—Gopyrfelt London, September 26. Mr. H. G. Pellissier, the actor and publio entertainer, is dead. Tho untimely death of Mr. H. G. Pelissier robs tho lighter side of the stage of a very talented burlesquo artist, and London of ono of its most familiar and popular figures. His "Follies" was the forerunner of the many costume comedy companies which uon: exist nil over the world. He was extremely clever in devising burlesque. His "totted plays" based on London successes had an enormous vogue, and' tho "Follies" became an institution in London. Some six months ago it was announced that Messrs. Allan Hamilton and Harry Plimmer were negotiating for Mr. Pelissier to come to Australia, but his heal till was found to be too uncertain to malio tho trip.
