'An extraordinary statement Is attributed by the "Waikato Times" to the conorete workers at Warkworth, between whom and the employers trouble at present exists. In a dismission as to the effect the present conditions' would have oil the industry, it is stated that the .workers told the employers that they did not care whether any cement was produced in the country or whether ft came from China, Japan, or India, as in the latter case the men on the waterfronts would have to be increased b' some hundreds. The company, it is stated, intends to sit firm.
