Vi and Arohakau cov- , cred tlio last six furlongs of a mile in lmin. 21sec.; Culprit left four behind in 52 2-ssec. Tattcvloy went, freely over six furlongs, the last five taking / lmin. B{scc. Allen Doono spurted three furlongs in 38min., and Miivry Roe, looking well, did ono round at half pace. Mummer and Scatondalo sprint* ■ ed four furlonps in 52 3-ssec. Ventura, Jnson, and others did easy pacings Park Hill fell, broko a fetlock, and had to be destroyed.
