SEVERE BUMP.

IN MARSHALLING A TRAIN. (By TelegToph.—Special Correspondent.) Wanganul, September 25. Some excitement was caused at the Aramaho Railway Station shortly after midday to-day, when a train from Wanganui was making connection with tho Now Plymouth-Wellington . mail train. Tlio mail train was backing to take oil the dining car, and the through Wanganui-Wellirigton carriage, and had got up more paco than usuaj. In doing this it ensiled into the diningcar, smashing tho buffers and sending tho table-ware flying in all directions. The shock threw the dining-car off the rails and the train had to proceed to Wellington without it. All the carriages on tho connecting train from Wanganui wero disabled, and have gone to the workshops for repairs.
