BRILLIANT FLIGHT.

Garros, tho aviator, in a flight from Toulon to Tunis, passing en route ovor Sardinia, accomplished tho journey (a non-stop ono) of five hundred miles, in 7J hours. Garros' Mediterranean . flight (from Toulon to Tunis) arid regard it as a definite triumph for French aviation. A subscription has been opened to commemorate it. A fete has been suggested. Tlio Order of the Legion of Honour has been conferred upon M. Garros. " KEEP COOL." (Rec. September 25, 10.15 p.m.) London, September 25. M. Pegoud, the French aviator, who accomplished a marvellous somersault in mid-air, using a Bleriofa stability with his machine, has been accorded a welcome at London. In a speech he declared that his wish was to prove that if tho pilot keeps cool and uses a decent machine there is no need to fear a mishap; also he wished to demonstrate tho safety of flying if airmen kept to a certain' height.
