ADDINGTON STOCE SALES. Christchurch, September 24. At the Addington live etock market tho yardings of stock showed a further reduction, especially in tho fat sheep and fat cattlo sections. Tho scarcity of fat cattle caused a further rise in pricee, values reaching up to £2 par-lCOlb. Store hoggets were somewhat easier on account of tho continued dry weather, but wethers and ewea and lambs showed no change. Fat lambs sold at improved prices. Fat sheep opened at advanced; rates, but eased off towards tho end of the eale. Store sheep and pigs of all classes also showed an advance.

Sheep—Good wether hoggets, 16s. 6d. to 17s. Id.; medium, 15s. 6d. to 165.; small and Inferior wether hoggets, 13s. Bd. to 143.; good ewe hoggets, £1 23. 3d.; four-tooth wethers, £1 Is. Id.; four and six-tooth. £1 2s. 7d.; two-tooths, 19s. Id.; full-mouth owee and lambs. 1?*. tPd.

There vra<3 an entry of 51 fat lambs, all weU-grown, and of good quality, and prices wero firmer than tho week before. Best lambs, £1 os. 6d. to £1 63.; others, 15s. to £1.
