FIFTY THOUSAND REGULARS OPERATING. 7)y Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrlchl London, September 22. Tiie British Army manoeuvres, which have opened in Buckinghamshire, are on novel lines. Fifty thousand Regulars arc attacking a skeleton army, composed mainly of Territorials, with the object of testing the staff in tho handling of largo masses of troops, and especially in tho maintenance of communications and transport. FieldMarshal Sir .Tolm French is commander of the invaders and also director of manoeuvres. Tho defenders are employing three squadrons of aeroplanes, and also airships.
