Zealand in Janunry. The Now Zoalatulers who have been visiting Sydney have lost no opportunity of furthering this cause, and it is expected that the Stato will sond some of its best men on this vory enjoyablo and instructive jaunt. Tho New South Welshmen will iiavo an opportunity of studying the system which has enabled tho New Zealand clubs to embrace nearly threo times as many players as are to bo found in this Stato, and which has produced such line exponents. They will learn tho moaning of Now Zealand hospitality, and throughout their tour they will not bo asked- for a shilling for green fees, that pauperising innovation in New South Wales bowls. In New Zealand, before a match takes place, each player on tho homo sido puts in half-a-crown. Green fees, too, should bo abolished from New South Wales bowls.
