By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Albany, September 20. H.M.A.S. Australia and H.M.A.S. Sydney have arrived after an unoventful trip from South Africa.
The Australian warships had an enthusiasts welcome. Admiral Sir George Patey, in a message to the people of Australia, says: "The Royal Australian Navy has come to stay, Tho scheme is sound and well thought out. The Bhips are good value for the money expended, and have fine companies. I am much gratified by the messages of welcome from all 'parts of Australia and Now Zealand, and look forward to my work with tho greatest enthusiasm."

The town Is en feto welcoming tho warships. _ The children of tbg- district schools visited the vessels, and sang patriotio songs. There are other extensive festivities. ,
