OBITUARY.
MR. WM. BRUNSKILL,
Much regret will be expressed, at the news of tho death of Mr. Win. Branskill, proprietor of W. J. Staples and Co., wholesale boot manufacturers, of Ghuzneo Street, Wellington, and for years well known to tho local bowling world as secretary of _ the Wellington Bowling Club—tho senior club in Wellington—in which capacity ho earned tho goodwill and esteem of all bowlers. Somo three or four months ago tho deceased suffered severely from heart trouble, and was so poorly at.one stago that his lifo was despaired of, but ha pulled round and was heartily congratnlatcd on his recovery at a recent meeting of tlio club. On Wednesday last liia old trouble reasserted itself, and lie died on Saturday morning. Mr. Bran, slrili, who was 62 years of age, was a/ native of Manchester, England, and camo out to Now Zealand in 18i4. Later lio became a partner with tho lata Mr. W. J. Staples, boot manufacturer, and on his death somo eight years ago became tho solo proprietor of tho business. Ho leaves a wife nnd two matrio<J daughters (Mosdam&s Jensen and Wiut<
