Details have been received of a repair job by the naval authorities at Gibraltar, whereby a now propeller blado was fitted to the steamer Indraghiri. Tho vessel was on. a passage from New York to tho Far East, and . when about 630 miles from Gibraltar it was discovered that a blade of the propeller had dropped off. On the steamer's arrival at Gibraltar it was decided that sho should duck to havo another bl.ido fitted to tho propeller. Tho cargo was of about BCOO tone dead weight, and this, together with tho stores, coal, etc., and tho weight of tho Bhip, aggrogated about 14,000 tons, and it will readily bo ecen tluit tho dry docking of such a vessel was an operation of considerable difficulty. Tho Gibraltar dry docks belong to tho British. Admiralty, and tho Indraghiri was dry docked and tho water pumped out until the boss of tho propeller was showing.
