A second aiutomatio bakery is about to be established in Wellington. The premises aro to be erected on tho largo piece of land l in Adelaide Road until recently owned and occupied by Messrs. Humphreys Bros, as a timber yard. The main building is to be of three stories, built of brick, concrete, and steel, and adjoining will be a largo brick loading room, wlieiro it will ho possible to load from 25 to 30 oarts under cover at one time. Six draw-plate ovens are on'order from Messrs. Cox and Sons, Leicester, Engfcmd, and are expected to arrive here in November. It is tho intention of tho company to install a complete automatic bread-making plant capable of turning out 10,000 a day. Tho company is an amalgamation of tho three bread-baking firms known at present, as Messrs. Davies and Sons, Lang. d«n and Sons, and Denliard Broad Co., Ltd. Tenders aro advertised for. The Manawatu and West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Association will hold their grand metropolitan _ agricultural show and industrial exhibition, and Manawatu Kennel Club's chamnion dog show, on November G and 7.
