"THE RIVALS."
The performance of "The Rivals," presented by Miss Richmond for the benefit of the Richmond Free Kindergart«u, was repeated in the Sydney Street Schoolroom last evening before a crowdcd aaidicnce, and it again met with the wannest appreciation from those- who attended it. If anything, tho comedy wont better than on the previous evening, and tho funds of the kindergartens sliould benefit to a very satisfactory extent. _ Mrs. Fell, as Mrs. Malaprop, agam delighted the "house" with her clever acting and wonderful misplacements of words, and Mr.- H. E. Nicholls repeated his admirable work as Sir Anthony Absolute, whilo the; other performers wero equally successful in their impersonations.
