RUAPEHU FROM LONDON.
At an early hour yesterday morning thd New Zealand Shipping Company's fit-earner ltuapehu arrived in the stream at Wellington from- London. She berthed at the Queen's Wharf No. 1 south, at 9 a.m. A report of the voyage was supplied by Mr. W. D. Crcvndace, second officer, as follows:—The ltuapehu took her departure from. London on July 31, and arrived at Teueriffe on Aiugust 6. She left the latter port again the next day, and arrived at Gap© Town on August 22. Departure wee taken from Cape] Town tho same day for Hobart. Pino Weather was experienced from London to Oapo Town. and the usual squally weather from the last-mentioned port to Hobart. On leaving tho last-men-, tioned port a light easterly wind, accom-' panied by a heavy south-easterly swell, wae encountered. For the most part of the trip, however, there were strong northeasterly winds, rising at times to the force of a gale. Captain, It. C.
