DANGEROUS CRIMINAL UNMASKED.

Tho woman Aumaller (whose dismembered body was found ill tlio rivor, tho discovery leading to tho arrest on a charge of murder of tho Rev. Hans Schmidt) was i'ormorly employed as a domestic in tho parish houso. where Schmidt officiated. Schmidt attempted to commit suicide with a razor when arrested. (llec. September 17, 10.50 p.m.) Now York, September 17. The discovery of a counterfeiters' den, operated by Schmidt and other criminals, indicates that Schmidt is one of tho most cunning of modern criminals. Tho detectives believe his reported insanity to have been feigned. Dr. Ernest Murat, a dentist, has been arrested in connection with tho charges of counterfeiting It is believed that lie was Schmidt's accomplice in some of his criminality.
