FIFTY-EIGHT OF THE MISSING
PEARLS.
HANDSOME REWARD FOR A WORKMAN.

Fifty-eight of the missing pearls, which have been identified, were found in a parcel on the roadway at Highbury, a London suburb, where they had apparently beon thrown. Two workmen were walking along St. Paul's Road, Highbury, when they noticed a parcel in the gutter. They picked it up, and a pearl dropped out. The polico wero informed and a joweller called. The latter pronounced the contents of the parcel to be genuino pearls. Scotland Yard was then informed. It is believed the parcel was placed in the gutter purposely, to enablo the pearls to be discovered. Mr. Mayer has identified the stones as bolonging to tho necklace. It is stated that the workman who was tho actual finder of the fifty-eight pearls will receive £8000.
