SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications aro for squally and changeable weather generally; heavy rain In high country, and in the West' Ooaet and southern districts of the South Island. ICigh northerly winds are probable with a westerly tendency soon, the barometer falling. Much Tain lias fallen in tho western districts of tho South Island, and the weather has been changeable elsewhere, with, strong and squally northerly winds.
