SPANISH MURDER TRIAL.
A COLD-BLOODED CRIME. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. September 17, 0.10 a.m.) / Madrid, September 16. The trial has commenced of Captain Sanchez and his daughter Luisa for the murder of Senor Jalon, a. wealthy resident who disappeared in April last, and whoso body was found in June, cut to pieces, between two walls of a military school. It is alleged that Jalon was a notorious gambler and fast liver, and that Luisa was his mistress. Portions of the body wero thrown into a drain, wliilo tho remainder wero hidden in gutterpipos. Tho prosecution demands t-lio death sentence for Sanchez, and lifo imprisonment for Luisa.
