MR. WADE'S CENSURE MOTION.
PROBABLE APPEAL TO LAW. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, September 16. Mr. Griffith (Minister for Publio Works) has expressed his willingness to accept an offor made by Mr. Wado (Leader of the Opposition) to waive Parliamentary privilege in the event of Mr. Griffith resorting to the Law Courts to disprove Mr. Wade's recent allegations, but says that the matter is one for his fellow-Ministers to decide. Cabinet will consider the question to-day. Mr. Wado a few days ago launched another censure motion,' condemning tho action of tho Minister for Public Works in connection with the proposed Sydney railway and two .other railways, and also with regard to certain land purchases. (Rcc. September 16, 8.35 p.m.) Sydney, September 16. On behalf of Mr. Griffith, his solicitor has forwarded a letter to Mr. Wado, requesting tho latter to repeat publicly, where lie will not be sheltered by privilege, the statements made in tho Houso with regard to tho Minister's alleged interest in certain publio works undertakings.
