KELBURNE BURGLARY.
MR. BRODRICK'S HOUSE ENTERED
Thoi police havo information of a daring burglary which was porpotratcd recently at tho residence of Mr. Brodriflk, Commissioner of Crown Lands, Kolburne. The house was loft locked after dinner, but on returning- about 10.30 Mrs. Brodrick, on entering tho house, found tho burglar. at work in tho dining-rooiu. Nearly every room in'the houso had been ransacked and tho burglar would havo got away with a good night's "swag" had ho not been disturbed.- As it was ho seoms to havo been glad to get away at nil, and on a subsequent search it was found that only a few loose shillings wore missing. The burglar was seen at eloso rango by Mrs. B rod rick, who would havo no difficulty in recognising liiin if provided by the police with that opportunity, but bo far no arrest lias been made. From Mrs. '. Brodrick's description of the intruder it is belioved that ho is tho man who was recently concerned in a burglary at Kilbirnio. '
