EUGENICS SOCIETY.

Tlio Wellington Eugenics Education Society' holds its usual monthly meeting this evening, in Committee Room No. 1, Town Hall. The paper to bo road on "Social Environment and Moral Rights" will deal with the subject discussed byAlfred Russell .Wallace in .his latest book published this year. In it he reviews the moral and social progress of mnn from the dawn of history to the present day, and makes various suggestions as to possible remedies for the social arid moral evils which exist among us. He also makes an earnest appeal to eugenists to refrain from advocating drastic legislation as the only remedy for certain of those evils. The lecturer will discuss his suggestions in some detail, after which discussion will be welcomed.
