, As these clever young Now Zealandera are announced to appear at the Town Hall Conceit Chamber to-morrow, (Tuesday), and Thursday and Friday, the following from a contemporary will provo interesting:—"The audience was large and waited with critical silenco tho opening numbers. It was soon manifest to all present that the performers were as gifted as they had proclaimod, and long applause followed tlie rendering of almost every item on tho programme. Tho Elhvood Trio aro all possession of genius. Tho 'cello work of littlo George found great favour with the audience. His rendering of 'Raplisodio Hongroisc' was given with a precision and power that were most sur-' prising. The littlo instrumentalist also excelled in his second number, 'Gavotte Humoresquo.' Doublo encores wore demanded and given, and still tho audicnco, like Oliver Twist, longed for more. Tho work of tho violinist, Master Harry Ellwood, was of the highest order of merit. Tho audience quickly found that this youthful player had fi completo mastery over his instrument. Liko his brother, Harry was recalled for overy item. Tho trios by Harry (violin), Folly (piano), and George ('oello) were splendid numbers." Mr. John Prouse, tho well-known New Zealand baritone, will assist tho Ellwood trio. Tho box plan for the three concerts is now on view at tho Dresden.
