MEN'S BROTHERHOOD.

There was a good gathering of tho public yesterday afternoon at the Brotherhood meeting at tho Now Theatre, tho Rev. Knowles Smitli presiding. Tho meeting was addressed by Mr. A. HopIpCr, missioner in South Wairarapa, his subject being "A Romanco of a Back-block Mission." Much interest was added to tho meeting by a song by Mr M'Donald, "Tho King of Love, and a recitation by Mr. G. Petherick, "How He Died." The collections aro to ho handed over to Back-blocks Mission Fund. ______
