Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a medium entry of sheep and cattle at their Palmerston North sale on Thursday, which stock raid as follows:—Small mixed hogget?, to 13s. 3d.; fair mixocl hoggets, to 155.; storo cows, £2 175., £3 17s. to £4 55.; small 2year stesrs, £4; small yearling steers. £2 175.; empty heifers,. £3 6s; Tha Hew Zealand Loan and Mereantilo Agency 00.. Ltd., report;—At Palmerston North on Thureday wo had a small entry of ehcep and a good yarding' of cattle. Owing to the inclement weather there was a small attendance of buyers, and bidding wa3 inclined to drag. Several lines, howoverr, were quitted after the sale, and very littlo went out unsold. Hoggets (good), 17s. 33.; fat wothcrs, 22a. 6d. to 30s. 3d.; rams, IBs. Cattle: Aged cows, -£2 3e.i storo cows, £3 143. to £4 Is.; oows in calf, £4 125.; light fat cows, £5 45.; backward heifers in calf, £3 2s. to £3 14s. 6d.; small yearlings. 38s. 6d.; yearling steers, £3 to £3 2s. fid.; 25 to 3-year steers, £6.
