TAHTTT' FROM 'FISCO At 8.30 o'clock .yesterday morning the Union Company's R.M.S. Tahiti dropned anchor in the stream. Sho is from San Francisco, via Papeete and Rarotonga. The Oalifornian port was left on August 20, and, favoured with fino weather, the vessel arrived at Papeete on August 31, one day. ahead of time-table. She continued her voyage on the following day, and arrived at Rarotonga on September 3. Tho Inst stage of the voyage was commenced from Rarotonga at 11 a.m. on September 4, and with the exception of eome bad weather on Wednesday last, tho voyago was completed under favourable conditions. , The vessel is at present discharging a particularly large cargo, which includes 941 oasos of fresh pears. 312 cases of frceh apples, 5735-cases and 600 Parks of onions, a quantity of canned and dried fruit, ana a shipment of Rarotonga bananas and orangee, -and also a largo Quantity of mixed merchandise The Tahiti is timed to leave for Sydney jit, 3 p.m. to-day, but it i<3 probable that she will not sail till later in the evening. MURITAI LExVYES HOME. •Advice was received locally to the effect that the Tyscr steamer Muritai left London on September 11. for Melbourne, Sydney, and New Zealand ports.. F, AND' S. LINE. It has been decided to dispatch the Koj" para (under charter the F. and S. Line) from' Liverpool to Australian and New Zealand porta on September 20. The original intention was that the boat should loa-d at New York under .the auspices of tho A. and A. Line. The F. and S. steamers Banffshire, Ayrshire, and Nairnshire _ will leave Liverpool for New Zealand direct, on October 25, November 15, and December 13 respectively. INDRALEMA MOVEMENTS. Bad weather prevailed at Karamea yesterday, and tho departuro of tho Manga* papa for Wellington was consequently postponed.
