SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Present indications ox© for high southerly winds everywhere, with cold, squally and showery weather, but a temporary improvement is probable soon. Barometer rising everywhere, but only temporarily in the eoufch. Heavy Tain has fallen in moat parts of the oountrrt with 5 boisterous westerly winds, changing to southerly to-day in tho south. Electrical disturbances nave been cxperienoed in variotis parts of th« South Island. Tho barometer lias rieen in tho south, but has continued to fall in tho northern Meteorological Office, Wellington. September 11, 1913.
