Thero wore sovoral thousands of people preaent, including Sir George Ileid (High Commissioner for Australia), the Hon. Thomas Mackenzie (High Commissioner for New Zealand), and tho Agents-Gcu-eral for tho Australian Statos. Lord Choylesmore, Chairman of tho National Rifle "Association, and Chairman of the London County Council, organised a reception by tho AVclcomo Club. Madamo Slapoffski, the wellknown soprano,' sang, and other Australian features wore introduced.
