OBITUARY
DEATH OF JIBS'. JOHN WHITE. On Tuesday afternoon the dcatli took placo in Napier of Mrs. John White, of "Braeburn," Porangahau. Tho deceased lady had been ill for a little .vliilo only, but on Saturday blio was brought into Napier for nil operation from tho effects of which she did not recover. She was tho widow of tho late Mr. Jolm White, of "Braeburn" Station, and had resided for about forty years in the Porangahau district, whero tho news of her death was received with profound regret. Her husband predeceased her soino years ago and she is survived by four sons and fivo daughters. Tho former are: Messrs. H. W. White, E. J. White, F. J. White, and K. W. White, and tho latter Mrs. Mowbray (Hultanui), Mrs. Bruce Speedy (Feathorston), Mrs. J. Bibby (Onga Onga), Mrs. Q. Patterson (Waipulnirau), and Mrs. Kinder (To ICuiti).
