THE DOMINION ASSOCIATION. (Br Telegraph.—Press Association.l DUnedin, Septcmbor 10. • The. Dominion Bowling Association was constituted to-day at a meeting of the recently-appointed excctitivc. fho New Zealand, Northern, and Auckland Provincial Associations aro the three organisations which have been made into one. The Wellington Centre's request that tlie North Island tournament ill the coming Tear bo hold at Auckland instead of Wellington was granted. It was decided to givo Auckland dates Ia to in Vobriiar.v for an Exhibition tournament. The Donvinion Association's tournament to bo held in Dunedin opens on January 12. Dates for various other tournaments were approved. OPENING OF THE SEASON. " At a meeting of the directors of tho Wellington Howling. Clnb, held last evening, it was decided to open tho season on Saturday, October 4. Must of tho other elnbs will probably open their greens for tlie season of tho Saturday following, October 11, providing tlie'state of the greens permit.
