Its chief fault is that it generates excessive heat during. sustained ' rapid fire, and beoomcs baked. It is- believed that a change of powder will bo necessary in order to obtain tlipllor$ r trajectories of the best foreign arms. i It is further suggested that tho desirability of trying automatic rifles is responsible for tho withdrawal.
