MR. LLOYD-GEORGE ANGRY.
WHAT HE SAYS OP THE CECILS. By Telegraph—ProßS Association—Copyright London, September 5. An angry controversy is going on bo< tweon fllr. Lloyd-George (Cliauoellor of tho Exchequer) and Lord Wolmor Unionist, M.P. Mr. Lloyd-Georgo acousos Lord Wolmer of misrepresenting .tho facts in regard/ to Marconi Bharo purchases, and of being guilty of mean falsehoods and calculated lies. "Lord Wo'lmer," saya tho Chancellor, "is not particular as to tho consequences, but, like other calumniators, distorts mischievous inferences from innocent facts. Lord .Wolmor and his family have been peculiarly offensive in negotiating hugo contracts with tho Unionist Governments when in. office. In common decency he should havo repudiated such transactions if lie wanted to take a high lino respecting Minister's investments. Lord Wolmer and his fellow Cecils should begin their lessons at home. I could furnish them instances for instruction."
