He left Adelaide at half-past 3 a.m., and rcached the terminal point at Broken Hill at 25 minutes pasfa 5 p.m. j the same day. Cheney drove a "Forcl," and was j accompanied by Mr. B. Ralph. Ho paSEcd j j through 98 gates, 88 of which his companion had to, open and shyt. The previous record was 16 ' hours, standing to the credit of Allen Doone.
