Messrs. Dalgety and Co.. Ltd., Wa-nsanui, report:—At our sa'le on Wednesday wo had . a, full yarding of sheep and a small yarding of cattle. The demand a.ll round waa < dull, and liog-gets showed a docreaso in price on recent q>notations. Wo quote:— Fat wethers, £1 4s. 9d. to £1 6s. 9d.; fat ewes, £1 3s. 6d.; forward two-tooth wethers, £1 Os. Bd.; first-class wether hoggets, 18s. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At Palmorston, on Thursday, only a small ya/nling of sheep came forward, ( which sold at tho following prices:—Ewes 1 in lamb, 215.; medium hoggets, 125.; black- ] faced hoggets, lis. 4d.
