THE HERETAUNGA CLUB. Tho Hcrotaunga Boating Club's annual smoke concert took placo on Wednesday evening, the commodore, Mr. J. M'Dougall, presiding. Mr. J. Kirk presented the prifces won during tho season as follows: —Pencarrow raco, Mr. Head's Spray; Koro-Koro raco, Messrs Martin and Ingham's Hinau; A Class, Mr. Taylor's Winsome; B Class, Messrs. Bittle and M'Donald's Miro; Dominion raco, Mr. Wilson's Clara; Kia Ora raco, Mr. W. M'Dougall's Marguerita; Kiev race, Mr. W. Taylor's Winsome: Puni race, Messrs. Bittle and M'Donald's Miro; A ' Class (committee's trophy), Mr. W. Wilson's Clara; tS Class (committee's trophy), Mr. W. M'Dougall's Marguerita: Challenge Cup and gold medal, Mr. W. Hartley's Illinois ; Hartley Cup and gold medal, Clara; Thorndon Dinghy Sailing Clnb's Challenge Cup and Pennant, Messrs. Willis and Bryan's Huna; Wilford Cup and blue ribbon (aggregate for season's racing), Marguerita.
