ROBERTSON COMMITTED FOR TRIAL. • By Telesraph—Press Association—Oopjrrieht (Reo. September 3, 9.35 p.m.) London, September 3. 'Robertson has been committed for. trial on a chargo of murdering his three children at Hackney in July last. The body of a. nine-months-old child was found under a looso board in the top floor of a building in Hackncy, and in one of tho < lower rooms tilio bodies of two children, twins, aged 2J years, were found behind a cellar wall. A young wooden-legged man, named Frederick Robertson, had occupied' the rooms with Ms wifo and children. The wife was removed. to an .infirmary owing to a breakdown, and Robertson departed, telling a neighbour that tho children hatl been placcd under the care of friends. He also stated iihat he was worried by his wife's illness. Robertson was arrested.
