The Federal Government will introduce a Bill this current week authorising the Commonwealth to tako over Norfolk Island. , \ Norfolk Island, area 12 square utiles, population 9G7, is 930 miles east from Australia. It is administered as a dependency. by a chief magistrate, assisted by an elected Council of twelvo members. The chief village is Kingston.
