f6peci»llj Written for Tin Douikioh.] WEDNESDAY. Lentil soup. Pickled pork. Potatoes. Parsnips. Lemon tart. Cream. LEMON'TART. Haff a. pound' of short crust, 2oz. butter, 2 lemons, 2 eggs, 4oz. sugar. Roll out the pastry a little larger than a medium-sized tart-plnto; grease the plate; cut a strip oft the pastry all round. Put the strip round the edge of tho tart plAte; tvet this, and line dish with iremaiindor of pastry; out round and ornament at the edges. I'riok the centre all over to prevejit its rising, and bake till brown and crisp. Grato the rinds and squeeze the juico of tho lemons; put tlio rind' and juice into a saucepan with tho sugar, yolks, and butter; stir over a moderate lire until thick. When cold put on tho top and ornament with whites of egg stiffly beaten. Put into a cool oven to set, and slightly colour. FOR TO-MORROW. ? Stock. Celery. Curry powder. Apples. Rico. One and a half pounds neck chops.
