A westerly storm-area has prevailed, with high northerly anil westerly winds, which havq chanced to Fouthorly breezes in the south. Considerable rain lias fallen generally, and gome snow on higher levels in, tho eauifch. The baromotcr is now lowest about Cool; Strait. BATES.
