STUDENTS' RE-UNION.
TEACHERS' TRAINING COLLEGE.'" Tho first annual re-union of students of tlio Wellington Training Collego, which re-union will sit for tho wholo week, was commcnccd in tho Training College yesterday afternoon. Thero woro about 100 people proscnt, about half of thorn being old students, and the remainder present students .of tho collego and their friends. Tho Principal of tho collego (Mr. J. S. Tennant) prosided. Tho proceedings wore quito informal, being in the nature of a welcomo to tho visitors mainly, but thcro were a few speeches and somo students' choruses. Tho speakers were Mr. J. S. Tennant, Mr. Robert Leo (chairman of tho Education Board), Mr. J. G. W. Aitkon (member of tho Education Board), and Mr. T. R. Fleming (Chief Inspector of Schools). After" tho speeches tho company wero served with afternoon tea, provided by tho present students of tho collego.
Following is the programme for tho rest of tho week:—Tuesday: 2.30 p.m., tennis and .fives tournament commences; 8 p.m., "social" at Training College. Wednesday: 11 a.m., ladies' hockey, Past v. Present, at Kolburno Park; 2.30 p.m., men's football, Past v. Present, at Kolburno Park. Thursday: 2.30 p.m., tennis and fives, Training College Social Service League; 8 p.m., theatre party. Friday: 10 a.m., annual general meeting, I'rainjng College, and discussion of general businoss; 8 p.m., annual dance, St. Peter's Schoolroom.
